MOTU debuts MicroBook II audio interface for Macs, PCs

Audio specialist MOTU has announced the MicroBook II, an upcoming audio interface for Macs and PCs. The hardware sports four inputs -- XLR mic, hi-Z guitar, and stereo line-in -- and six output channels, divided between TRS 1/4-inch, S/PDIF, stereo mini, and 1/4 headphone options. Power comes off of USB 2.0, eliminating the need to use a dedicated cable, and the mic preamp provides 48V of phantom power with a 20dB pad.......
